Resources in Presence refer to re-usable objects with their own configurations. They can be managed using the Resources Explorer, which is the bottom-left pane in the Presence administration console.

The following types of Resources can be created and re-used:

• FTP Connections

For connecting to a remote FTP server in order to upload or download files from that server

• Database Resource

For use with the SQL Statement Nodes

• SMTP Servers

For sending emails from Presence.

• POP / IMAP Mail Accounts

For receiving and processing emails with Presence.

• Text Template Resources

For creating and editing reusable Templates within Presence.

• Message Transporters

Generic resources for sending faxes and SMS messages.

• LDAP Resource

Configure LDAP connections for use with the LDAP Query Node
